There is a long story behind this dress. It was actually started with some of the very first peek-a-boo dresses. I think I just got really busy and the dress was left half done for months. Well, a week or so ago I didn't have any pending orders and I just needed to sew something for a little stress relief (oh by the way I passed my dissertation prospectus defense woohoo). So I re-started this dress then I noticed one discoloration on the fabric, which is upcycled from a bedsheet that I had already washed on hot. So I washed it again but couldn't get the color out, it was only on the Waldo fabric and since all my dresses are lined I figured it wouldn't do any damage. So that's where the faux pocket comes in. I thought it actually added a super cute flair. Okay next I finish some more on the dress and go to sew on the buttons and eek I find it poofing in the back and another faint spot. Enter the darts and the hearts.
I think all the "design features" actually add a lot of extra cuteness. I'm super happy to have been pushed in this way (by necessity) to come up with something new and interesting. Because of the quirks I'm offering the dress set (includes little bloomers) for only 29.50$ that's like getting the bottoms absolutely free. This one is sized 6-12 months. If you want your own Where's Waldo dress (with or without the design features -pocket and hearts) just let me know, although all future where's Waldo dresses will not have back darts.
Also I'd love some feedback, I'm going to list the Waldo dress as a regular made-to-order like my other stuff do you prefer it with the pocket and hearts or without?
