Well many a folk have been posting about the details of running a small business that most of us don't even think about (until you end up doing it yourself). Jessica has shared what goes into prepping fabric even before cutting starts and Michelle lets people into the real cost of shipping and hadleling.
So my contribution to what goes into small business life: this slide show of getting orders packaged and ready to ship. I love my shop, I love knowing that cute little ones will be prancing and romping in my creations, I love getting fun feedback, I love seeing pictures of my stuff being worn and I love getting all of it ready. It is really important to me for my purchases to be good experiences. I want my customers to feel free to ask me questions and to know that I put my heart into each item down to the packaging.
