That 70s Style #3: Those Awful 1970's Basketball Shorts

Very often on Retrospace I whine and complain about how much better it was back in the good ol' days of the 1970's. I'm quick to to point out how superior the music, TV and life in general was in the 70's compared to today.

Well, not this time. When it comes to the basketball uniform, we've definitely made vast improvements. I'm glad to wave goodbye to those tight little short shorts. As I enjoy the NBA playoffs, I am appreciative of the fact that they no longer wear hotpants. As much as I admire Latrell Sprewell, I don't want to see him run around in a pair of Daisy Dukes.
