So you probably can tell that I like documenting things. And since I've managed to get my family to move out here complete with the babies I've got to get control of my pictures. I love scrap booking but I just can't do the old style again (too much time, too much mess, too much money). Digital scrap booking sounds really appealing but I have no idea where to start. I'm hoping some of you might be able to give me some guidance. I've got a few questions but really since I haven't even gone there I probably don't know what questions to ask, so tell me what you think I should know. p.s. I've got photoshop and I'd like to use it/learn to use it better and I'd rather start with free stuff.
1. Are there any great websites with good digital scrap booking/photoshop tips?
2. What size should I make things (considering I'd want to print these or get them printed when I'm done)?
3. What are my options with printing? What have you guys tried and like or dislike?
4. Any cool/fun things I should try?
Yeah obviously I don't know what questions to ask but hopefully some of you will help me get started.
p.s.s. I used Ginnie's Make it POP action on Tira. She loves helping me water my garden (which is doing really well I'll try and snap some shots of it this weekend, yea rain water). So I tried to get her to help me transplant, totally bad idea. She didn't get the difference between the soil that had the plants in it and the stuff in the bag that was to be moved into the empty containters so she moved my poppy seedlings into my grown tomato plant boo. Lanna on the other hand was seated far too close to my basil, in seconds of plopping her into position she one handed my basil and jammed it in her mouth. Yup gardening with the nieces is risky.
