Howdee all,
Had a great time Saturday with a wonderful group of Birders who Blog,,some tweeters and some chirpers. And some like me members of the Nature Blog Network.
(I am going to do a few posts on the outing so as to not have one very long post.)
Luke from Under Clear Skies blog kindly volunteered to show us around the area.
That's Luke below in the Navy blue shirt. We gathered here at the Audubon center.
There were 14 of us at this point.
I invited Paul, a birder for 50 years, who happened upon our group,to join us He was a pleasant and informative addition.
We walked around Milford Point
Seeing a few birds, chatting, and getting to know one another.
Checking out the Piping Plovers
My lousy photo of a Piping plover check out Chris's photos of the plover
We left Milford point and Chris stayed behind to meet his grandkids.
So it was a short and sweet time spend with Chris of “Cute” Fame. Hope to meet up with you again Chris.
For more accounts of the day go to.
