If there's one thing I've learned as your humble curator of Retrospace, it's that in the 1960's and 1970's, sex sells just about damn near anything. We've seen the example of pretty ladies modeling horse manure and a naked chick in an advert for a freaking comb!
Take for instance, this ad for Alka-Seltzer from 1955...
Now here's an Alka-Seltzer magazine advertisement about 15 years later...
Get my point? So, let's take a look at a few interesting examples of 60's and 70's advertisements which unapologetically inject a little sexiness into the mix for products you wouldn't readily expect to find it.
