Howdee all,
Jeff and I spent our last day in Patagonia at the
Nature conservancy not far from the center of town.
Jeff hears and spots a singing Eastern Meadowlark
We bird along the creek
Lots of Robins around..taking baths in the creek…
Black Phoebe hunting for insects.
It was a beautiful, warm day. Trees were starting to leaf out..
Birding the meadow for sparrows
A Bridled titmouse check out this hole..
Vermillion flycatchers darting about catching bugs…
Lush green vegetation around the creek
we find a Lucys warbler in the low vegetation. Warm sun glowing thru the trees….
We hike back the railroad bed trail
A Cardinal…a bit different than the cardinals in the east..
We say goodbye to the Nature Conservancy…
And head over to Patons for one last look at
The Violet crowned hummerAnd the Broad-billed
Until we meet again….
