Howdee all,
Another nice hike in New Hampshire this one near North Conway..

Read the above link for more trail descriptions.
4.5 mile RT
827.0 ft Gain
Black Cap is located east of Cranmore Mountain
It was another moderate hike…which means allot of sweat for this ole gal.
From the top there are wonderful views.
The young uns were already at the top waiting for us ole folks..
It was a lovely spot to have lunch…
And wander around on the granite cap…
I spotted some glistening pine cones..
And noticed the glisten was sap..
A few more discoveries..
I stopped to pick a few berries..
Just a few ripe ones..
While sitting taking in the view..this fella came to visit me..
It stayed on my arm for five minutes..
I suppose I tasted pretty salty..
After we all rested at the top…we continued the hike following the trail back down the mountain to the intersection of the trail that goes to Mt. Cranmore.
This wildflower was blooming in the field below Mt Cranmore Lodge and Tram.
We took a break at the lodge…taking in the views of North Conway..
before heading back down the mountain.
Another awesome Hike in New Hampshire…
