"A four week project. While I was brainstorming I came across a picture called ‘Relativety Stairs’ by an artist called M.C. Escher. I thought it would be an excellent assignment to improve on my texturing skills. But the picture needed something else and since I was playing the game Portal at the time, why not combine the two? This was a very good project where I learned a lot about texturing and how exactly they are created.
Even after the deadline had passed I was still improving the picture, since there were just so many details on the picture I didn’t have the time to add in the four week period. And since it was my first ever project to work on over such a long time, I also learned a great deal about how you should organize your time correctly.
I am very pleased with the result and I can’t wait to work on another project of the same scale. Rendered with Vray."

Typeface based on sculpture becomes motorized sculpture. The (European) typeface Jigsaw, “which was inspired by sculpture,” finds a use in typesetting the names of donors to a (U.S.) regional arts council. “A motorized disk contains approximately 2,000 names.... Pushing an initial letter on the control panel allows the viewer to find a particular name. The disk rotates and stops at the requested letter and displays all the names corresponding to the requested letter by backlighting them with white LEDs.” (Gallery; Vimeo video.)

Things can get complicated when it comes to Wibbly-Wobbly, Timey-Wimey-stuff. The universe is full of what ifs, impossibilities, and paradoxes. So, what if Charles Shulz had been called upon to write a season of Doctor Who? Instead of a TV series, we might have gotten a comic strip or a cartoon that looked a bit like this. Thanks to artist Larry Wentzel, we can now imagine what they might have looked like.
I always thought there was something sinister about the Peanuts. I mean, what's up with those sounds the adults make? It's like the TARDIS stopped providing psychic translations. And why are there so many kids running around unsupervised? What did those kids do to all of the adults?
Dance like nobody's watching, Lucy, because those are the only times when you can!I imagine after the 11th Doctor was put in the Pandorica, the villains broke out into a little celebratory dance. Apologies to Charles Schulz and the Peanuts characters.

I would totally buy this comic. After the Empire, I think the little guys would make short work of the Predator.

So that led to me talking about an idea I had about a Predator landing on Endor and he gets his ass handed to him. I mean, sure some of the natives will get killed, but in the end these teddy bears took down an EMPIRE! So one Predator is not going to be enough.
Dark Horse should do it! And yes, I did come up with this idea on April Fools... but it has potential..."
