Howdee all,
We had a great time at the New River Birding and Wildlife Festival.
A small, intimate festival, awesome Birders and naturalists as guides..
We were up every morning at 5, a buffet breakfast was served at 6~ we then loaded onto buses for our half day or full day trip.
After our day trips we joined everyone for a buffet dinner at 6~with a guest speaker most evenings.
Jeff and I saw a total of 117 species during the weeklong festival. No life birds, but awesome looks at birds like the Swainson's Warbler.
It was so nice to finally meet “The Flock” Wonderful gals!
I took lots of pictures and each day downloaded them to my computer and put them on Windows Live Writer without text, thinking that I would have the energy sometime during the week to put a post up.
I feel like this seed head…just hangin in there..
I might post a few in the next week, though, I doubt it. We are now on our way to
~The Biggest Week in American Birding ~
You know what that means…more early wakeups and evening lectures.
Looks like another busy birding week ahead..
Hope to be back to my normal Facebook, Twittering and Blog reading soon.
Happy Spring Migration to you all…
Watch for those rare ones!
