Whether he's starring in videos that parody racial stereotypes or destroying the competition as part of SmackDowns as part of Cryme Tyme, due to the 2009 WWE Draft, JTG is a street-tough Brooklyn brawler both in and out of the ring. Cryme Tyme made a huge splash in their RAW debut by defeating the World Tag Team Champions the Spirit Squad in a non-title match.

After pounding their way all over Monday night, the 2009 WWE Draft brought Cryme Tyme to SmackDown, where they quickly began to unload their action-packed mixture of mayhem and mischief onto Friday nights.

However, the high-power tag team came to an abrupt end following a loss to John Morrison & R-Truth in April, 2010. After Shad was pinned by Morrison, he took out his frustrations in a shocking attack on JTG. Later in the night, Shad proclaimed there is no more Cryme Tyme. "This is my time," he said.
